Scenery Config Editor v1.1.9

Featured Replies

After my system crashed and I repaired the system, I opened my Scenery Config editor and the message below greeted me

I installed my flight sims both P3Dv4 and FSX:SE, I also have boxed edition of FSX installed but I don't use it

Before the system crash I had exactly the same installation and the SCEditor worked fine, I don't know what to do

Please anyone has any idea what's going on here

Help please

Many Thanks

I would start by reinstalling Java.  Perhaps the crash corrupted the existing installation.

Java kept hounding my Windows 10 system for the last week to install an update.  I finally let it go ahead today.  I then later worked extensively in SCE this afternoon with no issues.  I am using SCE v1.1.6.  I concur with reinstalling Java as the first step.  Clearly a conflict between the two.  If that does not solve it then see if you have a recent but previous version install file of SCE.  Good luck. After using SCE for about two hours today better organizing my library I can attest to how valuable it is.

Just FYI - SCE is JAVA based. Not a conflict but rather a "working" requirement.

Thanks guys,

I have been working offshore for the past few weeks, this is why I did not answer to your replies

I will try re-installing Java, only I do not know which version of Java is needed for SCE to function perfectly

Many Thanks

I don't think SCE cares.  I've used several versions of Java and never had an issue.
