January 21, 20188 yr I would start by reinstalling Java. Perhaps the crash corrupted the existing installation.
January 22, 20188 yr Java kept hounding my Windows 10 system for the last week to install an update. I finally let it go ahead today. I then later worked extensively in SCE this afternoon with no issues. I am using SCE v1.1.6. I concur with reinstalling Java as the first step. Clearly a conflict between the two. If that does not solve it then see if you have a recent but previous version install file of SCE. Good luck. After using SCE for about two hours today better organizing my library I can attest to how valuable it is.
