January 22, 20188 yr The Executive Committee of the RTWR wishes to confirm that the annual race will take place, beginning Friday, February 16th 2018. As like last year, it will focus on one large geographic segment of the globe, will rely on the well-known aircraft of past years and essentially follow the format of the existing General Rules. As is the case every year, a set of Special rules will define the route, specific aircraft limitations and other special circumstances which define the year's challenges. More details to follow.. January 24, 20188 yr Outstanding!! Oh no... I will be missing from the roster on Saturday the 17th from 1500z until 2000z. I have an event (fly-in, safety program & lunch social at the FBO) with my EAA chapter along with the jointly sponsored Civil Air Patrol & FAA WINGs program. It was initially set for the 10th has just today been changed to the 17th... Kinda "word not allowed". FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
January 28, 20188 yr I've been sweet talked into laying myself on the alter of Crash detection...again. I've had a little go with the Duenna and waddya know? First time out......I crashed! Oh well, get 'em in early. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
January 29, 20188 yr I think I could participate this year! But I would need some help in getting started (which aircraft to use, procedures etc.etc., etc.). I'll be back and ready for advice and training next weekend.... Regards Gunter Schneider
