Prepar3D v4.1 Dynamic Lighting Looks Splotchy

Featured Replies

Not sure what the issue is, but when I'm at the airport at night, I see these splotchy lighting gradients on the ground. I set all my graphics settings to the max, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I'm using Prepar3D v4.1.

This is the Innsbruck Airport from Orbx.

I disable the Dynamic Lighting in my settings, because, yes, it gives unrealistic ligting scenes and also eats some ressources.

DO you also have it with other airports?

Which video card and hardware do you have?

Are you using Nvidia Inspector?

Unrealistic lighting???? Compared to what?

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

Compared to real life, of course :) Lighting gradients don't suddenly change... right?

Hahaha you missed my point....mainly because I didn't communicate that well.

I meant relative to what in simland.

I wish lighting looked like real life.

Personally though, I habe never seen the gradients this bad in the sim.  I have only had scenes thst look smooth and quite cool actually.
