Yes, I have seen the previews of the new xEnviro version. Looks incredible! My wx and the cloud textures are completely stock. I use MaxxFX to enhance the colours and the contrast in XP, and I also tweak some art controls.

As a side note i dont understant this sales policie from FF, why dont release the plane without time limitation even still in beta!? like many others did!! But I think that they want to have it in a really stable and functional state before they finally release it. This is a very complex product, and their manpower is limited. An open beta would most probably cause too many reports to handle, that’s my guess. I have SMP, but only tried it very briefly in XP11, and I personally don’t like it. Stock wx is pretty good in XP11.11r2, upper visibility, cloud draw range (a problem in SMP) and cloud textures are quite convincing in the current state. Sorry, I don’t know if the rain effect works with SMP. But I doubt it, and I would suggest that you give the stock wx and textures a try! ;-) And thanks a lot for your kind words!
