Excellent shots of the FF A320.  The rain effects look amazing.

Seeing all these beautiful shots of this impressive aircraft are making me think about getting XP11.  My biggest hold back from going back to XP is of course the weather.  Are we anywhere close to what Active Sky gives us in P3D yet?  I don't care what add-ons would have to be bought.

Great shots! Too bad, the raindrops on the windshield do not work with xEnviro yet.

Although I own xEnviro, I only use stock wx in XP11. It‘s really quite good in 11.11r2! 

But I defintely have an eye on the further development of xE. Have you seen the preview pics of the water puddles, reflecting the scenery and lights? Wow!!!

You should give it a try! The weather presentation might not be as accurate as AS in P3D/FSX, but personally I think, it looks more natural and believable. And the aircraft interact with the surrounding atmosphere and wx in a more realistic way: If you forget your anti ice in icing conditions, you‘ll most probably will encounter a stall. Flying into and out of cloud layers gives you a real sensation of speed, breaking out of clouds looks really spectacular. Or, the way the stock clouds get dynamically lit by the sun, especially during dusk and dawn. Or the haze, variing with different times of day and year, according to the temperatures. These are a few good examples. There’s also some stuff that needs fixing, like unrealistic behaviour of the aircraft in stronger winds (especially crosswinds), etc.

it does look very nice indeed! been also thinking about getting XP (my only "complaints" about XP is the lack of seasons) ... question about the FFA320, how does it compare to the FSL A320X in terms of sounds in the cockpit? 

XP is looking mighty good these days!

You´re very welcome!

Personally, I don´t care too much about seasons. I prefer flying over ortho photo scenery, painted generic stuff just doesn´t do it for me! ;-)

Soundwise, it´s already very immersive. The engine sound might be a bit too soft on the inside, but it is still beta. The fans, the avionics, the switches and relays all sound extremely good!

I apologize again for another question that I believe was handled elsewhere.  But, unfortunately, I cannot remember the answer.  The FF A320 is still in beta, right?  It is not available to purchase any more but was for a short period of time?  Or am I remembering that wrong?  I thought it was.  I went to the x-plane.org store and it says not for sale.

It´s still in beta, yes. They sold a limited amount of copies yesterday, as a 3rd beta patch. I don´t think that we´re too far away from official release though!

Ok.  Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.  I'll have to put XP11 and this aircraft on my list of upcoming FS purchases!  In the meantime, I'll just continue to enjoy these beautiful posts!  :)

Get it! ;-) XP11 will amaze you, even without any further payware, it can do some „magical“ things! :-)

Have you done any tweaks to the build-in weather (e.g. cloud textures) or is this completely stock what is shown in the pictures?

Yes, I have seen the previews of the new xEnviro version. Looks incredible!
