February 5, 20188 yr Hi, after reading again all your messages, I think the only error in the end is because Garmin has released a new Trainer version around the time you've tried to install. We have now released an updated version which is, among other things, compatible with the latest Garmin GTN Trainer. Please read this:
February 7, 20188 yr Author CAN ANYONE HEL P ME WITH THE INSTALL OF REALITY XP 750 HAVE GIVEN SEVERAL POSTS PHIL
February 8, 20188 yr @phil hazelton please don't cross post, it only dilutes any support information we give you. As a matter of fact, you're asking for help, while you've not followed up on my last post above in this thread?!
February 8, 20188 yr I too have installed the 750. The Flight sim menu bar (FSX) offers no Add-ON menu item after HELP. I installed this on another system a few weeks ago without problem. Phil is not alone with inability to use the product.
February 8, 20188 yr Author RXP Trust me I want help , I again tried to install 750 , it installed , its in the REALITY XP -program folder but not in FLS X . I just went thru my virus protection to look up the EXE . issue but could not find a setting for this issue , did make some changes in virus prot. but didn't help ( Steve suggested this ) Will stay on this link RXP to get help appreciate anything , very frustrating , beed FLS SIM nut easy 15 yrs , been able to resolve most issues but this one has me stumped !!!
February 8, 20188 yr Phil, Do you really not have an Add-ons option on the FSX menu line? See image. As you can see, I have other entries there other than the two related to Reality XP products. Odd that the menu does not appear. Do you not use FSUIPC? One or more of my other entries comes from add-on scenery. Couatl entries in my Add-ons drop down for instance come from FS Dreamteam sceneries. Wonder if it is an installation issue if the Add-ons menu does not pre-exist. February 9, 20188 yr Hi, The menu requires the rxpGTN_menu.dll to load via the dll.xml file (SimConnect). The file installs here (there is also \64 for P3D4): "C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\GTN Simulation\FltSim\32\" Failing on FSX usually means: 1) SimConnect Client SP2 (minimum) is not installed 2) DLL.xml file was not modified during installation. Can you please cross check if there is a 'rxp' entry in your dll.xml file?
