4100 JETSTREAM new with this plane need help , engines are always running .........would like help as to how to get plane cold & dark when I do my own flt play at diff airports thank U anybody great plane phil

no just in the last 2 days been having prob loading FMC w/ plan routes hub will not engage after I alien , I imput the right cord as per my usual procedures but it seems weird I just flw KIAD / KJFK and in flt VNAV& LNAV just disengaged after I cleaned up and was running @ 22,000' weird tried different route w/ plan and same thing w/ FMC plan input ck'd virus pro and NO issues , wondering if I hit a key board or something no drinking so I'm lost as to whats going on went to U-TUBE to follow start up proc again and did it right as per c/d proccc. thanks for ur help was just wondering after all these years of flying w/ many add-ons if program is messed up ?

just have been getting error in my flt sim X program on start up 2- days ago error " could not start because can not write FSX .CONFIG " never have had that error my fsx program is about 5 - yrs running with no uninstall / re-install done this error causes my FMC in PMDG 737 not to accept route inputs can anyone explain and help running win-7 , 2 760 ge-force cards , computer set up for flt sim phil hazelton

after some time I finally did find the " cold & dark " set up , thank you for the help From some for the responses I'd better get my stuff together before I request some more help . Some hard core pilots out ther e Appreciate all help Phil

new to 737-600 have tried to research but have not found way to have planes at start up in "COLD & DARK " with out having to shut down plane that's on r/w and running . Appreciate help Phil Hazelton [email protected] e-mail is from movie "16-candels " a comedy years ago .

tried it tonite again set up plane : speed , alt , att, head , f/d, etc. On r/w ..take off ok @ 2500' I try to engage a/p but it will not capture !! all green lights are on under : speed, head , alt , f/d etc. but a/p will not engage . No auto control w/ plane , must had fly .No hands on yoke , peddles, trim , v/s set for 1500' climb. 2en try , same set up on r/w !! this time I engage a/p prior to t/ off on ground and it works . Flt goes as planned Also tried to go into FMC to see if I needed to adjust settings on a/p , just got confused . Appreciate any help . Flt sim nut 15 yrs but in twin props These jets are a new ball game to me but really cool Thank You Philthy Phil [email protected]

just downloaded the PMGD 737 series, after take off I engage the alt/ heading /speed etc... then hit the auto pilot button , It will not engage .I have tried it both the 600 / 800 planes , same prob. I know I'm not doing something correct . Someone please help . Appreciate any help Philthy Phil [email protected]

appreciate the info, also know the LAX/ Vegas tutorial written for FLT- 4 , was very good . May just review that one again . Just would like to practice in USA if you know what I mean , seems more like home . Always best to come to this site , theres a wealth of GOOD help and information here. Thanks everyone Phil

I first downloaded program on to my computer . Then it gives you a page in the download that u can access w/ all planes in your flt-x that you can import & load the gps into . If the existing plane has a gps then it converted it into the 530 . Planes such as pay ware planes that have a gps say the 530 in it, it will give that existing gps the REAL word capabilities of the Garmin 530 has . The default has limited capabilities .

Have installed reality XP Garmin 530 into my planes in FLT SIM - X from online download . W/ my pay ware planes on install I get error message "FAILED TO LOAD WINDOW [00] and 530 does not install into these planes .These planes are " real air legacy & Carendo 210 . All other planes in FLT SIM - X - sim , the program installed , you can open plane and pop up the 530 , the 530 will boot up and the " OK" signal come up in 530 , once I hit the OK to get into the 530 to view my plan the Garmin disappears , this does not let you work on your flt-plan . Have tried to contract REALITY XP several times thru e- mail but they will not respond , have read their support pages but I can not solve issue ........... NEED EXPERT to guide me thru . Can anyone suggest a American Flight plan tutorial for the 737 NGX - FMC instructional type lesson . Just getting into this wonderful plane and need BASIC visual instruction on how to load a short flight using the FMC . Appreciate any sugguestions Phil [email protected]

ok, So the planes that I have bought ( pay ware ) cess 210, real air legacy etc that have the 530 in it will NOT let me do all the programing that the 530 is capable of doing ? I must buy the 530 , intall it in FLT sim - X then app payware planes that have a 530 will be able to function can someone sugguest the best 530 program to buy ? Beech Papa , Thank you for the reply So I can not just open a plane that has a 530 and hit procedures then menu , I must create a flt plan in flt-X first ? Then proceed in the 530 to create the flt plan in that unit Have been reading the 530 online Manuel and all confused . Phil Beech Papa What is RXP

This morning PMDG rep Ryan came and fixed my prob w/ JS 4100 I was running a addon plane as default in FSX and this caused a lock up on install . He got into my computer from where ever and in 3- min 's had it all fixed . Thank you guys for the effort to help me , certainly appreciate it . Seems as the RUN as Admin was not the issue , BUT I did find out how to ck out if simis running as Admin. Didn't have a clue prior to today Thanks again for help Now got to figure how to fly this bird Phil

Ok, I'm not sure what you mean I go to lower left of computer and hit start rt click on RUN it says type in program and I type in FSX it brings me to folder w/ folder in it saying PROTECT IN IT IT HAS :RECOVERY S-1-5-18 , S-1-5-19, S-1-5-20 Where do I change to the file > Run as Admin.? or how do I do that in FSX? Really confused here

not sure what you mean by "RUNNING FSX AS AN ADMIN" the license activation came up only once , after plane was installed into FSX , the plane was in the aircraft select page in sim , I picked the JS 4100 and it asked for the activation code , which I installed . Once I uninstalled the plane due to it not working , I have not been asked for code again on new installation

Frustrated Just got new Jetstream 4100 ( PMDG ) , can not get it to install FLT SIM X Have all PMDG planes and never this prob. running win-7 , GE-fORCE 460'S computer is built of flight sim I install the 4100 , get to FREE FLT in flt sim X , see plane in aircraft selection , select it , flt sim brings it up for about 10 sec's then screen goes white , then flt sim tries to re- boot flt sim I'm very familiar w/ flt sim , never have this issue flt sim run's ok with this plane installed , all system's work just fine , no error codes tried closing virus program , uninstall several times , I'm at a loss Have contacted PMDG and not answer from them yet on how to fix. just opened new JETSTREAM 4100 cd , installing into win-7 , I go thur install process , flt sim comes on I pick PMDG 4100 in plan selection and flt display screen goes white and does not open , FLT SIM X re-boots and re- boots ext... computer built for flt sim Need your help out there Flt sim nut for 15 yrs , have several PMDG planes , wondering why prob's with this plane?
