February 1, 20188 yr Going through the checklist this one has always confused me. Looking at the MFD Electrical display I can find APU GEN Load, but not voltage. The only voltage I can find is DC BUS and there are multiple values listed there. When I respond to "EXT PWR/APU voltage" what value goes in ON/CHECKED XX VOLTS? I realize any value works, but would like use the correct one. Thanks..
February 1, 20188 yr I don’t know an exact range of what is acceptable as I’m not a Dash 8 pilot but you are looking for roughly 24 volts. I just realized you were looking for a more specific answer with regards to what value you should be looking at on the display. I learned this aircraft via the Airline2sim videos, which were fantastic. I’m foggy now as I haven’t been up in a while, (just had another kid). For all of our sake, I’m gonna look it up tomorrow, till then, if anyone else sees this and knows the answer give us a holler! Edited February 1, 20188 yr by jmythngdmb I’m lazy
February 1, 20188 yr Commercial Member You're looking for 24 volts. On checked 24 volts... spoken just like that. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

February 2, 20188 yr Author Thanks for the assist. I was looking for a listing for APU Voltage and I think that what the checklist is asking for is the value listed for the DC BUS. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking too it. Ernie PS: I have FS2Crew for both the iFly 737 and Q400 and prefer the iFly version. I find the checklist text in the Q400 version way too small and compressed, but again.. that's just me.
February 2, 20188 yr Commercial Member The Q400 version is a basically a verbatim copy (with respect to procedures, checklists, etc) of a real-world US based airline, which is no longer around. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
