March 1, 20188 yr Is it possible to keep the Pilots Edge open on the desktop while using P3D? Every time I want to talk to ATC I have to go down to the task bar, click on it to open Pilots Edge before I can transmit, which causes a delay. Mark Nelson
March 1, 20188 yr It's much easier to use FSUIPC to program a button or key to activate the PilotEdge/SquawkBox3 push-to-talk without any need to open the window. That's how most folks use it. March 1, 20188 yr You are doing something wrong. I never have that issue. Are you starting p/e as Admin? Ask on their forum or Discord channel once USA wakes up - they’ll fix it. March 1, 20188 yr Author That's why I'm here, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or not. So your saying the p/e window does not need to be open on the monitor in order to transmit? If I don't pull p/e up from the task bar, they apparently can't hear me. Mark Nelson

Short answer: no you do not need to pull up the client to transmit. It would help to have some system info: P3Dv?, Windows?, controls? i.e. Saitek ProFlight yoke?, FSUIPC paid version? With some more info I'm sure we can help. I've been using PilotEdge for several years without issue.
