P3D with VoiceAttack

Featured Replies

Because I fly VR, I use VA for some things.  I had it setup for P3D V4, & DCS.  For some reason it's not working with P3D anymore.  VA itself is working like it should, & no problem with DCS.  The commands just don't get to P3D.   Anyone else with a similar problem for P3D ?   Thanks,

bobnv have a read of the learning centre , P3D V4.2 now has its own voice control, so maybe there is some confllict there..

from the News ...Added Voice Control (experimental).

I use Voice Attack with P3D V4.1 and it works great.

I use VA with 4.2 no proven. You do need to make sure that P3d is set at the target and that it has focus. That may not be obvious if you're in VR. I use a small AutoHotKey script to automatically refocus the window if it's needed.

No conflict found here with v4.2 or 4.1. I use mostly FlyInside where at times you have to make sure your mouse is “active” in the reduced P3D window to get responses but I don’t seem to recall this with VA. Make sure you have listening on and try a simple test like Gear assigned to the G key and monitor that G is heard and recognized in the VA window if it is then it should be executed in P3D but will not if you have the VA window active since now P3D isn’t the active window in Windows

Hope you figure it out!
