It's absolutely fair and everyone should be doing that. We should have done a better job at explaining the changes we made throughout the Beta because there is a lot of misinformation getting thrown around right now based on very early versions of CP.

Again, as I stated in my previous answer, you no longer need an active internet connection to use CP. It's been true for a year now.

You were not assumed to be a criminal. Looking at your situation, it's simply an issue with our system where your serial was not linked to your account properly on purchase. Frankly, it has nothing to do with activations or anything like that. Let me know if the team resolved it for you. I am very sorry for that

I really want you to be on the Like side of things with your CP experience.

I used Ezdok for many years, but always found it extremely unintuitive. Sure, it does a very good job of movements, but to be honest I think too much movement in the VC is unrealistic, so I prefer just small movements which Chaseplane does really nicely for me. I also found Ezdok a little buggy at times. But as I have said, I found Ezdok extremely unintuitive, so when I had not used it for a long time and then went to make a correction or something, I had forgotten how to do it! (it's called getting old 😃) I find Chaseplane extremely intuitive and easy to use. I also love the way you can open the GUI in real time and adjust things while flying. But, at the end of the day, everyone will have a different opinion.

Keven,   I have to say, just from your reply (that fact that you even bothered to reply as well) you have sold me.  I see that you indeed DO care about customer service.  And yes, the reviews and forum comments on others sites I have read do appear to be old (again, all but one were using ALPHA versions) and incorrect based on what you are telling me.  I also VERY MUCH APPRECIATE your offers for me and my situations.   Oddly enough, I was going to go and purchase it but thought I would take a flight first...and Prepar is really screwed up... LOL  It hangs on start-up...  Had to uninstall everything and start over...now I can't get it to run at all... so as you can see...I have odd things go on!!! As SOON as I get it running again I WILL be purchasing Chaseplane!!!!

PS:  I LOVE Froogle's videos and have watched many... I watched his review on your site....was laughing so hard when the camera went wacko in the cockpit...as a PP myself when he was saying the pilot must be trying to adjust his seating and get comfortable....OMG!!  So funny!!!!
