GTN frozen

Featured Replies

Upon installing the S340, I went to the aircraft folder and clicked on the file for installing the gtn750 (which I own). Everything works in the cockpit and on the gtn at first. Both the pop up and vc gtn work, but then somehow the pop up freezes and the vc gtn continues to Work flawlessly through the flight.

anyone else experience this? Ideas?

Try editing the F1GTN.ini file for the airplane, and add a

CPU Core=xxx line

Try: all or 998, or whatever works for you in other airplanes.

Also worth checking you have the latest version of the GTN.  Mine was locking up completely in the Saab (both VC and pop-up) and would only reset after the avionics power was cycled off and on.  After downloading and installing the current version from the Flight1 store, I noted that the GTN Config tool version went from V2.03 to V2.05 which seems to have fixed it for me.

Okay thanks guys I will try both of these.

I have the same issue, it freezes up all the time after a while, and I have ALL cores present..

And V2.05 installed..:(

Having looked at this again, Im getting the GTN freeze with the Loganair livery but not with the Flybe. I havent flown any of the others yet.  Ive updated the aircraft to version 1.1 but am still seeing this problem with either all cores or auto set in the GTN config.
