Vatsim, maybe.  Have you searched for any ATC alternatives?  Welcome to the AVSIM Forums.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

I think John is referring to the stock ATC on free flight. Could be wrong though.

Certainly not possible with the stock ATC, just like asking to go around bad weather with an IFR flight plan.  I think creating such an ATC program that could adequately and correctly handle emergencies and IFR plan modifications would be a monumental task.  VATSIM or similar organizations where there is a human acting as an ATC would allow for such things, but as far as having your computer do it, it would take some pretty good artificial intelligence.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

VOXATC does this quite nicely, so the task can't be that monumental.  It handles engine failure, fuel critically low, hydraulic failure, avionics failure and passenger critically ill. Once the squawk is recognized, ATC will vector the user to nearest airport that can handle the aircraft.  VOXATC also provides vectoring around weather. The other 3rd party add-ons probably do some of  or all of this too, but I've never tried it when using those add-ons.

vox atc might try that thanks

just wanted to declare an emergency to atc when I have one like you would in real life where you would say mayday mayday mayday and the ATC would direct you to the nearest airport and land you asap
