August 28, 20187 yr Dear all, I have my current system specifications at my signature below, I am getting sick and tired of OOM with FSX and seriously thinking about moving to P3D. Now, Would my computer specifications run P3D even on average 15-20FPS or something? The same I am getting with FSX now? I have all the complex add-ons. Your opinion is highly appreciated Best regards Alaa A. RiadJust love to fly............... August 28, 20187 yr The LM system requirements are pretty straightforward, if you meet the recommended all the better: https://www.prepar3d.com/system-requirements/ Your problem is a severely under powered video card, and you need at minimum 2GB VRAM which your card falls short of by an order or magnitude. August 28, 20187 yr You do meet the minimum requirements and your i7 3770K can be turbo boosted to 3.9GHz by simply setting the BIOS to the optimal defaults. I have no clue as to how many FPS but would suspect you could get over 30 easily if you do not max out your settings. I agree with Dan that your video card might be a problem but it meets the min requirements. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! August 28, 20187 yr Commercial Member I ran P3D v3 with a 760 without significant issues, even at 2560x1440. A 680 is more powerful than a 760, so it should be OK at 1920x1080. Cheers! Luke Kolin I make simFDR, the most advanced flight data recorder for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane.
