1: Engine Shutters is gonna be fixed - Remember: This plane came out only 24 hours ago

2: You turned the tcas to the far right position. You don't turn it to the far right in the 748, you turn it to the one before the far right

3: You likely didn't press airport button on the eicas so you wouldn't have seen the ground map

4: No idea about that one

5: You put the flight plan into the company route folder and load into acars and sign in

6: The new OC isn't out yet

And the engine motion triggering while on the ground...  I'm chasing that...  It is peculiar to say the least since none of the motion triggers are in play while parked.

I'm still digging...  It gives me something to do while ignoring the fact that ALL the rest of Christopher's complaints result from his eagerness to remain blissfully uninformed by not reading the documentation provided in order that he has something to complain about.

Noticed it in the 744 too, the newest - newest - version (the one I could activate)

First I thought it was caused by GSX Level 2, which I had just installed. Thought maybe some passenger - new in his role - had accidently bumped against the plane and caused the engines to wiggle like a set of christmass balls, after the dog in all it's happiness tried to get it's toy from behind the christmass tree (where it somehow always ends up...)

Didn't give it much attention though, as I soon entered the cockpit and didn't pay attention to the engines much more. I was way more curious about the new ACARS login functionality in the 744..

Enroute on my maiden flight right now from PANC to KCVG in Atlas livery. It’s a peach! I am using AS weather, which had relatively light surface winds. I looked for any sign of “Jiggly Jets”, but they were not moving at all, other than a little (normal) motion while taxiing.

The departure airport was default PANC, and the moving map airport diagram was accurate in all regards. This feature is going to be extremely handy when trying to find the way to the ramp after a CAT III landing with extremely low visibility!

To the OP - if you do nothing else, read pages 172 to 205 of the updated Intro manual included with your download. That section covers the new features unique to the -8. The solution to almost every issue you had would have been covered there.
