Recovering Liveries

Featured Replies

Hi,
I recently had to uninstall, then reinstall, all my PMDG 737 600/700 add-on and PMDG 737 800/900 base packages due to a corruption issue.

The reinstall seemed to go well, as I can access all the the 737 models (600/700/800/900) but I am having an issue getting access to my previous "skins." These skins show up in the folder below, where they were originally saved, but I'm not able to access them:

 C:\Users\My Name\AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG Operations Center\Liveries

When I pull up the PMDG Operations Manager, the Livery Downloader shows the "skins" as previously installed, however, they don't show up at all in the Livery Manager?

How can I fix?

Normally, after a reinstall of an aircraft the OC will flag an action required and give you the option of repairing liveries.  Normally this works.  During beta we might reinstall multiple dozens of times so thank goodness it works.  As to why it's not working for you I can only guess.  It is always a good idea to run the OC before you uninstall an aircraft just to make sure its cache is up to date.

Try submitting a trouble ticket.  They'll probably ask for a log file and might be able to set things straight.

Why don't you uninstall the liveries completely and re-install them again?.

You simply need to click on them again in the Livery downloader. It then (downloads and) installs them again. This at least worked for me when I got a new computer.
