I was flying a training mission in The DCS Hornet when I had a flasback to my Jane's F/A-18E SuperHornet Sim day's.in those day's their was a great real Hornet Driver video going "Viral" on the relatively "New" YouTube site. The video was called "Magic Carpet Ride" because of the song of the same name.

These shots remind me of that time and place

Wow..."relatively "New" YouTube" days...I can see why this video must have been an instant hit.
And, from Jane's to DCS...! But, the flashback-memory of such early (combat) simulations must be worth it, I would think. Great shots and angles of the Hornet here!

I well remember that video. I had even saved it on my hdd and watched it many times at the time.

I remember the song in one of the Star Trek movies, when warp drive was first invented...
