November 9, 20187 yr Hello Dave, Pilot2ATC v2.5.0.6_r3, Windows 10 After an AIRAC update (cycle 1812) with the Navigraph FMS Data Manager utility, I get this error message. P2A finally starts, but I don't think it's OK. What should I do? *** Jean-Pierre *** (french user) X-Plane v12.1.1 - Windows 10 Pro // Laptop MSI GS75 Stealth dual screens ; RAM : 32 Go DDR4 @ 3200 MHz ; CPU: I9-10980HK @ 5.3 GHz ; GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super - VRAM 8 Go ; 1 disk SSD : 2 To // Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog + Saitek Throttle Quadrant + rudder pedals MFG Crosswing // TrackIR_5
November 9, 20187 yr Author Hello, Problem solved 👍 Yesterday I had the error message (see my first post) with the AIRAC 1812 rev3 (I had read the Dave's topic about that) Today I downloaded again the AIRAC 1812 rev3 and replaced in P2A the version rev3 by the fresh version. This time it works fine and I no longer get an error message. *** Jean-Pierre *** (french user) X-Plane v12.1.1 - Windows 10 Pro // Laptop MSI GS75 Stealth dual screens ; RAM : 32 Go DDR4 @ 3200 MHz ; CPU: I9-10980HK @ 5.3 GHz ; GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super - VRAM 8 Go ; 1 disk SSD : 2 To // Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog + Saitek Throttle Quadrant + rudder pedals MFG Crosswing // TrackIR_5
March 27, 20206 yr Hello JPR how did you fix this as i get the exact same thing in your screenshot , the 10% load then it stops with that same error message ? I did an Airac update do i need to do another one ? Thanks!
March 29, 20206 yr Commercial Member That error message is normally due to either the database file missing, or it being out of sync. First, check that the mentioned file exits. Look in C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Data for a file named P2ABaseData.mdf or P2ADynamicData.mdf, depending on which file is named in the error message. If that file does not exist, run the full program installer. If the file does exist, delete its log file named P2ABaseData_log.ldf (or P2ADynamicData_log.ldf) and try running again. The log file will be rebuilt automatically. If that does not fix the problem, email me at [email protected] along with a screenshot of your error message and I'll help you through the issue. Dave
