Green flashing bar in CDU

Sometimes I get a green flashing bar at the bottom of the CDU ( I do not know what causes it )

Question: what causes that and more important how to get rid of it ?

Is on the scratch pad of the cdu if so then it is the tab key that activates the keyboard input from the user.

Keep in mind that, even though you disable the "tab key for CDU input option" the green bar can still appear.

This happens when you accidentally click the scratchpad.

Also, some people are salty and won't tell you why .....
