September 3, 200619 yr Can the virtual cockpit window reflections be turned off? Personally I find them a bit distracting when flying? Is this something hard-coded into the model, or perhaps is there a setting that I need to uncheck, or even edit in the .cfg file?
September 3, 200619 yr You guys beg for realism, and when you get it, you want to 'turn it off'...Make up your minds. _______________________________________________ PILOTS: Looking down on people since 1903.
September 3, 200619 yr Well, I guess if I did beg for realism I wouldn't be complaining. But considering I wasn't clamoring for it, you might need to retract your statement. I simply want to know how to remove the reflections. As in real life, window reflections aren't always as in your face as the ones in the game.(at least to me) Besides in some aftermarket add-ons that feature can be turned off if I am not mistaken. Now unless you can provide something useful for me.. I have no use for your worthless, useless, and utterly moronic comment. Thank you and bugger off!
September 3, 200619 yr "You guys beg for realism, and when you get it, you want to 'turn it off'..."Amazing isn't it. I would have never thought anyone would want VC reflections turned off... September 3, 200619 yr So...does anybody on these forums have a useful answer? I hope I didn't damage the delicate sensibilities of the armchair captains by asking a question that needed just a simple answer.

If so, there likely is no way to 'turn them off.'As for me personally, the jury is still out on whether I 'like them' or not... ;) Fr. September 3, 200619 yr Hmmm I guess you could alter the textures, not a hard thing to do I suppose. Daniel
September 3, 200619 yr >You guys beg for realism, and when you get it, you want to>'turn it off'...>>Make up your minds.Do not confuse realism with mere existance of some feature. Many features in FS9/X are simply overdone. Realism often means something very subtle. That some feature was implemented doesn't automatically mean that if looks/feel realistically.Michael J.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gifhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg Michael J.
