Featured Replies

My first post so apologies if someone has already mentioned this, but browsing the MS FS-X forum this evening (UK time) I noted that Microsoft have posted a downloadable trial version of FS-X. Download is 636Mb in size and can be found here:http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul.../downloads.htmlAlso available are details of all the 21 included aircraft, missions etc.RegardsTony

PS.Release date is given as October 2006.Tony

You are joking, right? :D

I know I had a good chuckle. ;-) Maybe he "searched" for 'demo', but got overwhelmed with results and couldn't find any of the Demo msg's referring to the trial ver. }(

OMG! A demo! Im getting it now :)

ROFL!

I've actually heard this rumor also--Microsoft is planning on releasing a civil flight simulator of some kind. I bet it will be big!RandallP.S. Just some harmless ribbing. :)

Thanks Manny,I feel sort of foolish as I logged on to AVSIM after a couple of weeks away, saw no mention in the main news page of the downloadable trial version and thought it had only just been posted by Microsoft. As has been implied out by others it's my error so I'm sorry.I know what to do next time - engage brain and do some research before entering into correspondence!Tony

No Sweat Tony. You never know,., there are members here who may not have logged in for a while and that post just might have helped the fella.:)Manny

That's a good point. There are no stickies indicating a demo and the news goes by so fast on the front page I sometimes miss things myself. I'm venturing a guess you may have entered trial instead of demo. Welcome to the forum.Ian.

Don't feel bad. It's nice to see that there are some people out there with real lives. :-lol Dave________________________________________AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego @ 2.6MhzNForce4-A939 mobo 1G FSB2x1G Cosair XMS Ram on dual channelsSapphire Radeon X1900XT Video Card @ XTX23" Apple Cinema Display @ 1920X1200Soundblaster Live24Saitek Cyborg EVO TrackIR4
