My Current System

Featured Replies

Ok guys, bellow is what my current system looks like....runs FS9 with all sliders to the right smoothly...depending on how much AI traffic at the bigger airports (KLAX, KORD...)then it drops to the teens. Im currently away from my rig for a month and want to know if my computer will be ok to run FSX at least smooth to make it look like at least FS9 somewhat. Thanks,Bill

Bill, I remember reading somewhere that you can reasonably expect to get similar performance to FS9 but with somewhat better graphical fidelity, not all the bells and whisltes but better than FS9 (default of course). Sliders mid range maybe?

Bernard

Bernard, I think I remeber seeing that somewhere. Well, I hope so.Thanks,Bill

Crystal Ball's a little cloudy today, but you don't show what screen resolution and AA/AF you prefer to run at. Without that it is difficult to discuss frames.scott s..

Currently in FS9Resultion is 1024x768AA 4XAF 8XBill

Thanks, looks like a bit of shakin going on on the first part of the video. I guess they really updated the turbulence in FSX.Thanks,Bill
