July 4, 20241 yr Moderator A Google search for CDU apps for an iPad took me to another site where this product got glowing references. Those brought me to here where I’ve been a member for over 20 years but never spotted your forum until today! 🤣 I attended a flight sim show in Blackpool way back in 2006 where my good friend Pete Dowson almost persuaded me to buy a CDU which was effectively a miniature computer in a box similar in size to the real 737 CDU. At approaching 700GBP I was very reluctant to part with that much money for a single aircraft. Fast forward 18 years and we now have such an elegant alternative that achieves the same thing at a fraction of the cost assuming you use your tablet for other reasons. My iPad has paid for itself some time back with a digital license for my newspaper saving me a sizeable amount of money. So once I’ve recovered from a cold I look forward to trying this out. I bought a stand for my iPad some time ago so it’s perfect for this utility. Well done Mark for a brilliant idea well executed. 👏 Ray (Cheshire, England). July 4, 20241 yr Just toi give that some context my first license purchase for this was in 2015 for the PMDG 777X. how times fly. Seriously Ray I think it's a great addon I've got one for each of the aircraft I own from the FSX/P3D and now MSFS. 👍 Brian Thomas MSFS2020/24, Intel i9-14900K, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Panther OC 16GB GDDR6X, MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI (LGA 1700) DDR5, Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB (2X32GB) DDR5 5600MHz, BenQ PD3205U 32” UHD monitor, Win 11 Pro 64-bit,

July 8, 20241 yr Moderator I have completed two flights now with this utility. Setup was straightforward with no issues. The only aspect I had to search for was creating a shortcut on my Home Page on my iPad for the IP address so I didn’t need to load Safari first. Once that was done the interaction is seamless with no delay. And with the CDU visible all the time it proved more user-friendly than having to switch views with ChasePlane. Plus the biggest advantage. Using fingers to enter data and not the mouse! 👏👍 Ray (Cheshire, England).
