January 24, 20197 yr Is there something that can be set up that would allow to detect crashes for hard landings, etc. but not hitting object while on the ground? I hate when I push back and a GSX truck drives behind the plane and causes a crash but I would love to know if I crash on a hard landing or something pilot related (not that I want to crash). Also, is there a default landing rate in P3d that would detect/cause a crash? January 24, 20197 yr Always have Crash detection off. As for landing if you use projectfly it's like a good log book of all your flights and records your landing rates. A good landing is about landing in the landing zone above all else and at the right speed, a good landing rate is around 150, over 400 FPM is not good. January 24, 20197 yr Author I use project fly so I have the landing rate calc. I was looking for better crash detection as I have it turned off. I was also told anything above -500 would cause "damage" in real life but I don't know if that would cause a "crash" if I had detection turned on. January 24, 20197 yr Have any of you guys tried LRM Client...?? https://lrmclient.org/ Looks pretty nice, I might give this a shot. Scott
January 24, 20197 yr I do not need crash detection on, as all of my landings are perfect Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
