First Ultra Wide Monitor

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

I currently am running a triple monitor setup but all three of the monitors are very old.  I’m thinking of switching to a single ultra wide monitor.  I’m running a 1070 card for graphics ... any recommends out there?

I read some articles that recommended : Best Ultrawide 1440p – LG 34UC80-B, but as far as I can tell it isn’t available in Australia.

Budget is around the 1k mark.

Appreciate any advice!

Fair enough. I did a search a few days back but this seems new. Point taken though.

I went from (3) 24" displays to a 38" display, its really nice not having the bezels. But even with the 38" it is still narrower but worth it. FPS was about the same.

Any comments on the Samsung 49 inch vs 3 x24?

I don't have it. But I have seen it in person. Here's the deal, the resolution is not the best so if you using this and reading a lot of text or having a stretched panel would bother you, I would say go with something else.

Now If its ONLY for flight sim and you don't fly VC much, then Go for it. Having a super wide screen is cool for flying around.

Thanks, my dream monitor is three monitors in one; meaning it appears to be a single curved monitor with unseen bezels but is actually three. I don't know if such a things exists or will ever exist, but that would be the ticket.
