February 4, 20197 yr Hi Everyone I currently am running a triple monitor setup but all three of the monitors are very old. I’m thinking of switching to a single ultra wide monitor. I’m running a 1070 card for graphics ... any recommends out there? I read some articles that recommended : Best Ultrawide 1440p – LG 34UC80-B, but as far as I can tell it isn’t available in Australia. Budget is around the 1k mark. Appreciate any advice!
February 4, 20197 yr A search here is generally a good idea in the first place. Here you are, have a read here and you may glean something https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/549780-new-38-monitor-for-p3d-v4-2019-help-comments-requested/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-3968355. Rick Almeida

February 5, 20197 yr I went from (3) 24" displays to a 38" display, its really nice not having the bezels. But even with the 38" it is still narrower but worth it. FPS was about the same. Here's the deal, the resolution is not the best so if you using this and reading a lot of text or having a stretched panel would bother you, I would say go with something else. Now If its ONLY for flight sim and you don't fly VC much, then Go for it. Having a super wide screen is cool for flying around. February 7, 20197 yr Thanks, my dream monitor is three monitors in one; meaning it appears to be a single curved monitor with unseen bezels but is actually three. I don't know if such a things exists or will ever exist, but that would be the ticket.
