August 7, 200619 yr http://www.fs2004.com/downloads/index.php?dlid=1304This was a really cool video. It was kind of a nostalgic "Farewell FS9, Welcome FSX" video. Brilliantly made. Check out how well the music (and lyrics) fits the video. And of course the graphics of our soon "phased out" fs9 :( I hope it has not already been posted. Thought this would be a nice post to post now, as Aces is doing is final touches on the new FSX :DRaymondNorway Raymond Bergseng ENGM ________________________________ Asus P6T WS Professional, Intel Core i7 980X 3.33GHz (OC to 3.8), Zalman CNPS9700 NT CPU cooler, 12 GB OCZ Platinum XTC DDR3 1600MHz, EVGA GeForce GTX 580 "Superclocked Edition" 797MHz 1536MB, M-Audio Fast Track Ultra external USB soundcard, WD VelociRaptor 300GB SATA discs, Cooler Master Stacker nVidia Edition w/850W PSU, Dell UltraSharp 24" LCD, Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Logitech Ultra X Premium Keyboard, MX 518, Saitek Yoke and Rudder.
August 8, 200619 yr I've gotta say, as a "machinima" enthusiast, this is the greatest fan-tribute I have ever seen to a game.Expertly done, and a lot of fun.I particularly enjoyed how he illustrated the evolution of the game.
August 8, 200619 yr If you go to this website be careful what you click on. I accidentally clicked on a "download" button and it took me to something called "Spamblocker" which is a site known to install spyware (according to my Spy Sweeper program).
August 8, 200619 yr I do Photography/Video for a living and I have to tell you, that is one if not THE BEST compiled videos I've ever seen for Flight Sim. UNBELIEVABLE convergence of imagery and audio. BRAVO!Carmine http://forums.avsim.net/images/wave.gif
August 8, 200619 yr Commercial Member That was amazing! If the author is around, how did you get that realistic camera shake effect? Was that all post-processing by doing something like jittering around a slightly zoomed in image? Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

Was that all post-processing by doing something>like jittering around a slightly zoomed in image?I know that you can get some realistic shake and wobble with Active Camera, but that was probably done using a timeline based video effect in Vegas.

August 8, 200619 yr Simply Outrageous!Instead of End Of An Era, that one could be I've Still Got Some Life In Me Yet!I'm still trying to figure out how they got some of those shots.
August 8, 200619 yr >Simply Outrageous!>>Instead of End Of An Era, that one could be I've Still Got>Some Life In Me Yet!>>I'm still trying to figure out how they got some of those>shots. There are some really nice add on camera products that give you some real freedom in how you view scenes. Add some natural bounce and glide to the view, some post processing, and a lot of creativity and hard work, and you're there.
August 8, 200619 yr Thanks very much guys! I used the Replay Module and Fraps to capture with Sony Vegas to do all the after effects like the shaky camera effect. Very humbled at the worldwide feedback this video had received. It's quite overwhelming really. All the best to all of you!
