Once again, these are nothing more than WAGs (Wild A** Guesses) about the release date. Why is this so "critical" to know anyway?FSX will be released (a) when its done, and (:( as soon as the Marketing Department (and perhaps a dozen others!) signs off on the project, and not one day sooner... ;)

Where does it mention the release of FSX itself? Why would the publisher guess the release date of the FSX book? Aren't they the best people to know? Why should there be any close connection between the release date of FSX and the the release date of the book "Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Master the Experience!"?

I'm not illiterate you know... ;)Because of the "Non-Disclosure Agreement," of course! They cannot "publish" detailed information about FSX before RTM no more than anyone else who's signed an NDA can... :)

Come on Bill, we all know that October is likely to be the month. By then we will all know the full feature list of FSX. I really don't see why a book about FSX can't be published in the first week of October even if FSX itself comes out late October. On the other hand

I wouldn't mind that, I'd just read the book while I wait :(

For what it's worth most strategy guides do indeed come out several weeks before the software. Also software usually takes around a month to make it to retail after being sent for duplication. A world wide release would possibly need more time.
