July 1, 200619 yr > Do we know anything about any possible changes/improvements of ATC operations in FSX? We know at least one programmer has been assigned to ATC, so it should be better in FSX and not worse ;)
July 1, 200619 yr >We know at least one programmer has been assigned to ATC, so>it should be better in FSX and not worse ;)If he/she is a good programmer. ;)
July 5, 200619 yr We have not invested heavily in major additions for ATC in FSX.>We know at least one programmer has been assigned to ATC, so>it should be better in FSX and not worse ;)That programmer is not assigned to only work on ATC.
July 5, 200619 yr Just a few minor tweaks and bug fixes. We've had to place our investments elsewhere with this last release. Full details should probably be out in the next few weeks.
July 6, 200619 yr >Just a few minor tweaks and bug fixes. We've had to place our>investments elsewhere with this last release. Full details>should probably be out in the next few weeks. Not sure I like the word 'last' in that sentence, please don't say you mean last as in final.... ie no fsXI
July 6, 200619 yr What i hope they fix regarding to ATC1) 250 Knots under 10000 feet or relevant to their country. Australia has this restriction. Currently i can see AI traffic travelling up to 320 Knots @ 5000'2) Being able to get the atis 100 miles from the airport, not 603) Use of all runways, which can be fixed by users and submitted sorta like Afcads but without ATIS reading fake planes.4) AI planes to land smoother on the runway5) Exit the runway quicker...there is already a fix for fs9 but this would be great6) ATC to direct user planes to the correct airline gate. July 6, 200619 yr Most hard core folks will purchased Radar Contact if they are not satisfied with the FSX default ATC. That won't be a problem.RH
