Hi, I have just purchased my first iPad (6th Gen), not particularly for using as a remote CDU, but will eventually use it as such. I am not quite sure about which browser to use. You seem to recommend Safari, of which I have no knowledge. I use Google Chrome on my desktop PC. Can I use Google Chrome as my browser on my IPad ? , or must I use Safari, in order to create your CDU.

Sorry if this a somewhat basic question, but I would like to get a proper answer, before I setup my IPad.

Cheers

I'm using Chrome on my ipad for regular searches.

But for the remote CDU-usage i'm using Safari.  Works great.  And is the standard browser on IOS.

Furthermore i'm using this feature to expand the remote CDU to my screen like it was an App, works great aswell!

Hi Neil,

sorry for not getting back to you earlier.

I can only second what William said - by using Safari you are using the native browser of IOS and the 'add to home screen' functionality will make it behave like a native app, running it in full screen.

PS you can always test the free demo version to see how it behaves.
