March 27, 20197 yr Why don't they do a run up before takeoff? Would that have heated it up enough to cause the failure? Interesting that they don't have more frequent inspections in the salt water environment. A lot of parts looked corroded, though maybe hard to tell since the entire engine was in the water for a while. 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
