Install v4.5 over v3?

I still have P3dv3 on a separate drive and would like to replace it with v4.5  (leaving my v4.3 on its own drive).

Can I do this in the usual way: Uninstall old Client, install new Client, etc?

No, I don't think so.  First, there are a bunch of registry settings for P3Dv4, and so if you install 4.5, it will overwrite the registry settings already in place as part of your v4.3 install.  Also, unless you have multiple licenses, attempting to run a second instance without first uninstalling your existing v4.3 will fail due to your license already being in use.

I am confused.  Are we talking about three versions (v3, v4.3 and v4.5?)

Are you asking if you can update v3 (3.4?) to v4.5?  Absolutely not, v3 was a 32b program, v4 is a 64b program.

Still confused. Why keep two versions of v4 on same PC?
