P3D Resolution

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

Scenario as follows:

Screen1 2560x1440 - Primary Screen

Screen2 1920x1080

Elgato 1920x1080

When using windows, photoshop and the like screen 1 displays 2560x1440

When using P3D Screen 1 drops to 1920x1080.  How is this happening.

The Elgato is constantly mirroring screen 1 at all times.

Puzzled

Thanks

Steve.

Don't think you can do multimonitor at different resolutions.

Yes you can, all day long. I run 3840x2160  on one and 1920x1200 on the other.

However I seem to recall someone who had the same issue and it turned out that elgatyo was the problem. Don't use it so can't say for sure.

Do you use seperate windows? Cause I know for a stretched view atleast the resolutions need to match.

Yup, I run 4k and 1080p. Elgato is the issue. Ditch it.

You might want to try an HDMI splitter cable instead of using it for pass-through...
