I initially edited the lines for the FAIB A320 models as a test and it did seem to work. Doing this also made me realize that all the exit coordinate corrections that I made for SODE compliance had to be redone because the AIG Manager OCI model versions use the default FAIB exit coordinates.
May 22, 20197 yr Moderator Thanks Jay although I'm confused about the SODE thing with the exits. I'm not interested in seeing jetways move for AIG aircraft, just my own. If I copy and paste the supplied text for the relevant aircraft.cfg will it bugger anything up? Ray (Cheshire, England). May 22, 20197 yr You should be okay. Most of the exit data in aircraft.cfg is close enough except for a few SODE jetways. If you don't like the new versions just revert to the original aircraft.cfg.
May 22, 20197 yr I own UTL and AIG looks very interesting (had no idea)! Simple question: which one is better with performance (FPS, stutters, etc.)? I am under the impression that UTL’s injection function is better and more optimized than 100s of traffic bgl files inside the sim... JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
May 22, 20197 yr Moderator @windycloud, the Ai textures in AIG are 64-bit optimised for P3Dv4 only. The quality of the aircraft is excellent. No issues with lots of BGL files. Just longer loading times. No stutters. Try it for yourself. Just install one airline - BA - and locate to EGLL and you will see the difference. Ray (Cheshire, England).
