June 9, 20196 yr Hi everyone, I finally got to attend the FlightsimExpo, after planning to go for the last 2 years... and it is a hoot! There is a link to the official Laminar Research presentation here: Today we will see the finals round of the "Juneau landing competition", I will be one of the three judges. It was so great meeting and greeting with all the X-Plane fans and users, Austin and Ben were at the booth all day yesterday, too - talking to everyone and patiently answering questions (except for those about seasons and ATC ;-)) Hope to see you on one of those next events, Jan
June 9, 20196 yr Hi Jan, Looks like you have a great time ! Will the landing competition be streamed ? That would be nice to look at. I'll try this approach this afternoon. All the best, Pascal

June 9, 20196 yr Thank you for the video 🙂 Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
June 9, 20196 yr I thought Chriss was re-writing ATC? I guess it got put on the backburner or they are saving it for XP-12 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, RTX 4080S, Ram - 32GB, 32" 4K Monitor, WIN 11. Eric Escobar

June 9, 20196 yr I saw you in passing, but with the crowd it was almost impossible to turn around a swim against the flow. Looked for you later but didn't find you. It was a good show but the venue was a bit too small in my opinion. It was pretty difficult to get close to some of the vendors and have a chat let alone look closely at their hardware. I've had exhibitions there before and by being considerably smaller they were much more comfortable. All in all though it was a good convention. I certainly don't regret going. Thank you.
