GSX PBR FSX update useless?

Featured Replies

This latest update seems to be heavily Prepar3D biased.

Is there any reason for FSX users to update? I've seen nothing interesting listed for FSX users.

Reading the email they sent me it does at first look like it is heavily geared towards P3D users but they do say that there will be custom pushback points visually as opposed to entering coordinates  and some other features so that could be a plus.  I would head over to thier forums and read up to see if its right for you.

Dunno, I've had GSX for years but have never used it, ha!   I just bought the GSX 2 since it was on sale (besides FSX I have P3Dv4).  Hope I don't let that also sit for years. 😄

Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

I certainly understand you asking here, but it's probably best to ask in the FSDT forums.

Best wishes!

you are correct, as PBR is only supported for P3D v4.4 onwards, this is why its directed at v4.4 onwards

have you tried the GSX forums http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/board,50.0.html

I'm specifically looking for a list of improvements or enhancements this update may provide to FSX.

You know, release notes pertaining to FSX.

If anyone has a direct link, forum or otherwise, to this specific info I'd appreciate it, thank you.
