Rain on and off every 10 seconds

Featured Replies

Hi. Lately i am having this annoying issue where rain is switching every 10 seconds or so to dry.

I am using ASP4,  REX EF with SF installed but closed.

Using a PBR airport like KMIA is really nice but rather a annoying experience.

Anyone who know whats causing it?

The Metar is KMIA 120953z

Thanks Michael Moe

I’ve seen the same annoying effect at KMSY. Also annoying with rain triggered SODE lights.

On and off rain showers aren’t unrealistic though. I believe if the metar shows showers and not rain this may occur.

I get this occasionally as well, very annoying indeed, especially because it comes and goes very abruptly, and the rain does not reduce the visibility whatsoever. It seems to be an AS4 glitch.

Remember showers are not steady,  in cloud rain can vary from 0 to heavy instantly.
