Oculus VR and P3D settings question

Hello all;

I just bought an Oculus Rift S and was wondering about graphic settings in P3D. With my monitor I had a resolution at 3850x2160. If I am using the Rift, should I lower my graphic settings to the max of the Rift specs and will that improve framerate performance? What settings do you recommend that I set for VR?

The rift will only pull what it needs, irregardless of your monitor resolution.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Here's a link to dropbox  https://www.dropbox.com/s/vs3knubixs6sjrx/P3Dv4.5 Settings Chart 7-24-2019.xlsx?dl=0

where I have a complete settings Excel spreadsheet that shows my settings for 2D on my 4K monitor and the settings I use for Rift-S

Your mileage will differ but you can also see how things effect GPU vs CPU and all my system specs.

Good Luck

Joe

Thanks for posting this. I've had the Rift S for a little over a month but I also just got a 4k monitor. This will help immensely.
