Problem has solved itself- Worked after a couple of restarts, but still does repeat this issue occasionally.

Hi there! I bought Precepit yesterday and immersion today- Everything is running well under precip except when I choose "Override Existing Settings" then it hangs at the very end of FSX startup at 100, so I turned it off. Today i purchased the 737 immersion product and upon FSX startup, it hangs at the same place i described as well. It did generate a crash log which I pasted below. Any thoughts as to what it could be? Thanks for any help you can provide! Tried your recommendation and it didnt fix it- just deleted all my liveries...I'll try the help desk,,.

I head this can be caused by a corrupt DLL and I usually see it happen after installing certain terrain packages. Does anyone know of a resolution? I had also heard that the help desk can repair it if you send them the file, but I can't locate the help desk system for PMDG either...Any assistance anyone?

I don't own any of QW products, but I do have all of the PMDG acft and CaptSim ones...How do QW compare to PMDG? The thing I like most about the PMDG designs is the avionics and performance realism and functionality...Some devs leave a lot of functions out of their models...How do you think iFly and QW compare with currently available items? I fly the PMDG aircraft almost exclusively as I love the realism of the avionics and systems. The 737 NGX is my favorite so far, with the 777 and then the 747 close behind. I was wondering the possibility of the PMDG development team looking at creating the 787 series? What do you think about performing a survey to the customer base and see if crowdfunding it would be an option if that would assist with the process? Hi Jhon: An 800W power supply will work out great and will push everything you have listed. If you end up adding a few more SATA drives you might want to even look at 1000w ones...but 800w will do just fine...Let us know how it turns out!

Hello to the PMDG team! Hope you all had a great holiday! I fly the 737 and 777 series almost exclusively because I think they are the most realistic airframes by far available for FSX. I was wounding if you are contemplating creating a 787- I think that would be a great transition for many of us pilots, especially those getting into the next generation of commercial aircraft. Do you ever consider crowdsourcing development projects? I see a lot of software companies doing that now as it offsets the costs up front and gives you an idea of potential demand. I'd be willing to throw ya $100.00 for a 787 that's comparable to the 737 NGX! Thank you for all of your hard work and support to your community! Jon R Las Vegas

If you end up getting either getting the Nvidia GTX 970 or the ATI P9, you will probably need to upgrade your power supply to a 750W or bigger. I think the GTX requires that now...Good luck! I just got that 970 and its awesome! Jon R Las Vegas

Hi Dave: Yes I have. I have actually been flying the 737 NGX for a couple of years without any issues. For one of my VA's, we use VAFS which forces you to start engines off, so the procedure I have been using with complete success for a long time is the same one I still use- its just stopped working correctly for some reason. I start up the APU, which performs correctly, and when the light comes on to switch electrical power to the bus to run on APU, the light goes out but no power to the acft systems. I also do not get any bleed air. I have also tried the external start cart and air carts, selected external power but its not working...maybe a re-install might fix it... Another issue I have since the re-install is that every time I load the 737, even a previously loaded exact model, it prompts me for the online activation every time. Another reason I'm thinking something went wrong with the install...

Hi just recently re-installed my 737 NGX packages. When I start the acft with the engines shut off and start the APU, after it adjusts it will not let me power the acft when flipping the power switch to APU power. I also tried adding a start cart and selecting ground power, but still nothing. I also do not get any bleed air to start engines...Is there something I'm not selecting? It was working perfectly before the reinstall. Thanks!

I had to purchase the extended service to download the 737 again...Got my email telling me now I have to open a support ticket so someone can verify that I just paid for the download service. It says "EXTENDED DOWNLOAD SERVICE ORDERS: Your purchase has been recorded in your account. In order to receive access to your download, you must open a Re-Download ticket in PMDG's Support Portal: http://support.precisionmanuals.com". When you go to the portal there are three options- PMDG user to user support forum, PMDG website, and PMDG store. Are the tickets to be submitted to the Store portal? Just checking... When I load the default PMDG skin, it works great- I didn't even change any FMS settings or reset. Lights work and no static lines.I then loaded three different liveries and they all work fine now. Enabled and disabled ground connections and those all work fine....I keep checking but it seems to be working fine now. I was only doing the past two days or so. Nope- I'm just doing a normal flight right now- no time compression or anything...I'll try turning off the flight test package and maybe that will enable the other items... Ok, I enabled flight test package which was set to "NO"...When I switched it on, now the static cones are streaming...no lights yet. Just confirmed something- When I am viewing from external view and have the FMS up. when I toggle the test package on and off, the static lines just drop straight down and then back to streaming...

Hello all: It seems that just recently something is affecting my textures of the 777. I am updated to the most recent version 1.10.6155 for the 777-200. I've tried multiple liveries and they are all doing the same. It may be something I turned on but I don't get any external lights, and there seems to be 2 items dangling from the aircraft. One from the top of the vertical stab and the other off the rear cone APU exhaust. It looks like a rope with an orange triangle at the end of it. I also get random flashes in flight of the ground equipment which also does not show up when selected during pre-flight. Is this maybe a dx10 issue? My 737 package still works great btw. I have had the 737 NGX 600-900 versions and the 777 running fine since I installed months ago. I just purchased the 747x last night and installed that one and it was fine- flew it around a bit and that was it. Today I tried to run FSX but whenever I choose any of the PMDG aircraft, it requests my online activation code. I paste this in from my account and I just get an error message. Is this a known issue? Is the AVSIM website the "official" way to submit issues for PMDG products? I only ask because I don't see any other options on the PMDG site, and when you select support it just redirects you here...

Hello there: I just purchased the 747X aircraft and installed it. When I launch FSX and try to choose the 737 NGX, it now asks for the activation code.
