  1. Wow! Thanks for getting these! I was actually looking for some old Delta and American timetables!
  2. Ok- i tried earlier to apply one of the BBJ repaints I've used numerous times and it didnt work through the Operations Manager Livery manager app...I'll try a P3D texture livery next and see how that does...
  3. Can you use liveries created for P3D v3 with the new P3D v4 version? I'm guessing not since they may have 64-bit textures now?
  4. I was wondering what the possibility may be for a crowdfunded -developed aircraft, or if you think PMDG would consider it... Lets say us as a community and supporters of PMDG talent could say, choose to have them develop a 787, do you think it would get enough support to get considered? I don't know how much it costs PMDG to do create an air frame, but it would be neat to get a rough estimate of the costs and market potential for something like that. I was comparing it to something along the lines of Roberts Space Industries, a space sim that has been in development for some time that stated out with crowd sourced funds..They were able to raise quite a lot of cash for the games development. I see so many of us in here every day talking about how much we love our PMDG fleet, the support I see we provide each other, as well as the input from PMDG that it's quite an impressive community in size and scope. What do you think?
  5. My P3D v4 has been very stable so far- But out of the three or four crashes I have had it seems to occur as I'm crossing the international date line...Has anyone else experienced this? It does generate a ntdll.dll fault in the .exe. Any thoughts? Jon Las Vegas, NV
  6. Getting the same "Something went wrong" message with FSX and P3DV4- I'll wait on sending a log as i imagine they are all related to t he same issue...
  7. Every time I run any of my FS apps- FSX, P3D V4 I shortly receive a "Missing Registry" Pop up that says the sim i am currently running was not found in the registry. I checked the paths in the VFX Central client and they are all correct. This is happening multiple times even after restarts of the client and a reboot. This just started about a day or two ago.
  8. Hello all! Just picked up the 550 a day ago, and I am having an issue holding a steady altitude with the default AP- The aircraft will porpoise +- 500 FPM while trying to hold a set altitude...is this a known issue?
  9. I agree- The new modern airframes will be more attractive as they represent a more realistic platform that currently exists. This is especially true for RW pilots that utilize PMDG for training or simmers who want the most realistic sim on the market.
  10. Hello all Fellow simmers! I am purchasing P3D today and had a few quick questions for our community if possible- Can you or have you installed V4 with 3.4 still installed or did you have to uninstall it? Were you able to run FTX Central 3 and have it install your scenery files? Any issues? That's all i have so far- Thanks for any info you can provide! Jon in Las Vegas
  11. I just bought this today as well...Just so I'm understanding correctly, there is NO WAY to pan with the hat switch in the cockpit view? I noticed that as well and that is a huge issue...How are you supposed to scan the instrument panel without TrackIR- do you have to change views to see everything? I can only seem to pan from all the other interir views besides the Pilot view... oh! just discovered the controls! ha! and disabled the previous assigned axis in FSX...
  12. Yes, it was meant to lighten the mood and make sure you're having a great weekend it all! I'll tell you what thhough- the aerodynamic modeling you all did is amazing...To get that roll takes a little bit of effort as the entire air frame shakes and resists this maneuver.
  13. I've tried everything to get the cup holder to deploy- even rotating inverted and shaking the aircraft vigorously...How am i supposed to have my morning bourb...errrr, i mean coffee if this won't open?
  14. Hello! This is about my 10th flight with the 747 and no problems yet. However, this question is the first thing that has come up. All my previous flights followed the FMC programming correctly. Today, I planned a flight with PFPX, set a cruise Alt for 360 in the FMC as well as on the console, no problem. However, the FMC is calculating in the LEGS section a FL of 430...I went into the VNAV setup and changed the Cruise alt back to 360, and the first 3 waypoints went to 360 but afterwards a step climb back up to 430,,. Any thoughts as to why this happens? Maybe turn off auto calculate step climbs?
  15. This is what i was referring to- sorry for not adding in the original post. Its on page 103 of the introduction: SPLASHES IN DAYLIGHT: Allows the external model light splashes to function in the daytime. Note that this may cause visual artifacts due to the specifics of the lighting technique used.  FLOODS IN DAYLIGHT: Allows the cockpit flood lights to function in the daytime. Note that this may cause visual artifacts due to the specifics of the lighting technique used.
  16. i think this was mentioned in the introduction document as well...
  17. ah! Ok, that makes sense..For some reason i thought it was going to show amount utilized...Thanks for the info!
  18. First let me say your documentation is phenomenal! very detailed and easy to follow.Thank you all for the amount of effort and cost you put into developing it. Anyone having issues should definitely read the tutorial and intro docs- it really answered a lot of my questions. One issue i am constantly dealing with is managing VM and OOM errors. i have quite a lot of the ORBX scenery and addons, and I utilize Scenery Config editor to manage them depending on what kind of flight im doing. i also use Texture Max editor to set base resolutions for the same reason. I am running some tests with various graphic settings and watching virtual mem in my process Explorer app, and i did notice you had some info regarding the use of FSUIPC to place the VM amount being utilized in the menu bar. I followed the direction: "If you have a registered version of FSUIPC, you can place a very handy free VAS meter into the FSX window’s title bar by going to the Logging tab and then entering into one of the lines of the “Specific value checks” section the Offset 024C and Type S32. Check FS Title Bar in the “Display to” section below it. Press OK and you’ll see a readout of the free VAS in kilobytes in the title bar. FSUIPC will play a Windows “ding” sound if the sim is getting close to an OOM error. This is a good time to save your flight." I did this with my usage showing 3,692,656K, the value placed on the toolbar shows "Monitor IPC:)24C (S32) = 505040" Should this show the same value as process explorer? Is there something I might have missed?
  19. There were a bunch in there when I ran it- Make sure youre expanding the model drop downs so the liveries show..
  20. I agree 100%! Thanks for the feedback!
  21. Yup! Most of these questions I've see answered in the documentation...
