August 9, 20196 yr Hi, I recently purchased FSUIPC to be able to bind me Joystick to different functions, but im struggling to find some of the actions such as: engine start switch, apu start, idle cutoff.
August 9, 20196 yr Read the manual, & go through all the tabs, key assignments etc.. It's all there. Maybe go & read the official FSUIPC forum as well. Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...

Hi... As Robin mentioned - check the manuals directory - and one of the included manuals is just a list of all the flight sim functions defined in FSUIPC... It's easier finding what you're after - there - as opposed to the drop down lists in the dialog box... One other suggestion - take the time to go through your controls in the sim and delete any assignments for your hardware - then use FSUIPC to assign them directly - FSUIPC seems to manage your hardware controllers better than the default sim - however - if assigned in both places - it will cause conflicts... August 10, 20196 yr Most advanced aircraft add-ons do not use the default switches and controls for things like engine start, APU, etc. Access to those custom controls is usually done by way of a keystroke, button assignment, FSUIPC offset or other control provided by the developer. In some cases, if a keyboard or button control isn't provided for, you can program a macro in FSUIPC to emulate a mouse action on a panel clickspot. Without knowing what add-on you're working with, it's impossible to get into specifics.
