In this thread we>are discussing such generalities that if even this is a taboo>- what remains is pretty much useless information. The question isn't so much as to whether it will rain or not, but how much. The answer is "it'll rain tomorrow." How much is to be determined, but based on Mike's answer, expect it to be more than the previous version. At a minimum of a DVD's worth...Cheers,Jason

January 19, 200620 yr Well let's think about this....Worldwide (where available) 75m meshHigh accuracy road/water/coastline data for North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia, Africa and South AmericaTextures to 1m resolution.Landclass accuracy to 0.5km (where available)24 Texture set locations.......around 20GB on the DVDs?
January 19, 200620 yr Don't expect an answer anytime soon, as the product is still in alphaI see they are having fun, but the truth is, they do not know, until you get to beta testing, you do not do minimum system requirement tests to find out the lowest system it can run on, what hard drive space is required, etc. The product is still changing, and to say it is only 2 DVDs now when they might find they have the time to add another buffer mesh or something, and that will make it 3 DVDs, is just speculation on everyones part
January 19, 200620 yr >High accuracy road/water/coastline data for ....>Europe, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia, Africa and>South AmericaOh, I very much doubt that. US will definitely be in much better reolution than the rest of the world because of much better/easier availability of data.Michael J.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/pmdg_744F.jpghttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg Michael J.
