August 18, 20196 yr WOW! I finally found JustFlight had updated to 4.2 and I immediately downloaded. This thing looks amazing, and FWIW I LOVE the new sounds. One note. Engaging the YD doesn't seem to have any effect whatsoever. The tail of my Lear is all over the place and I have a harder time centering the ball with the Lear than the A2A Bonanza, and that can't be right. I really should be able to put my feet on the floor when the YD is engaged. Is this something unique to my Lear, or has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for an awesome update, guys! 🙂

August 18, 20196 yr Hi Folks, Hmm - I didn't notice that - did you have both Yaw Damper lights on ? Actually (4) lights - - - (2) x Power - - - (2) x Yaw Damper... That's the way I've been flying... Regards, Scott Edited August 18, 20196 yr by scottb613
August 18, 20196 yr Usually selecting one to on should switch off the other..? Regards. Matthias Hanel MilViz Beta Team
August 18, 20196 yr Hi Matthias, I am experiencing this as well (using P3Dv4.5). Tried both the primary and secondary YD's and both are the same. With YD off, it is very difficult to control with rudder inputs; with it engaged, I have to make what I would consider "normal" rudder inputs (that I would make while the YD is off). I believe you are correct; engaging one YD should automatically disengage the other. Drew Edited August 18, 20196 yr by longhorns3514
August 18, 20196 yr On my side this works as expected. Do you have autorudder set to on by chance? This could cause such things on advanced add-ons. Regards. Matthias Hanel MilViz Beta Team
August 18, 20196 yr It should be off but I will double check. Thank you for the tip. On a side note, sorry, meant to direct the first part of that to rightseat, as he was the OP. I’ve been on the forums using the smaller screen of my phone and for some reason, thought you had started this thread! Drew
