September 2, 20196 yr Hi all, I've just installed UK 2000 EGCC v2 into P3Dv4.5, but I'm having trouble getting all the gates to show up. I can see the gates when in the sim, but there are lots missing when I try to load in at one of the gates for a starting location. On this screenshot from EFB v2, I hope you can see what I mean, gates 50-52 for example aren't there, but you can see the taxiway leading to them. I would like it so they show up on here and so that I can start there in the sim. Hoping someone can help, Andrew
September 3, 20196 yr Moderator Did you install the ADE for static aircraft when you ran the installer? They give the option for an ADE with spots for static aircraft which eliminates parking spots for user aircraft or AI. If you open the UK2000 control panel you can select the ADE for no static gates and that should get the missing spots to show up. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
September 3, 20196 yr Author Thanks, no I didn’t install the static aircraft when I installed the airport. They often get in the way with VATSIM traffic for me. I had this scenery on FSX and didn’t have the same problem so I am slightly at a loss to what it is!

That is usually the reason for missing parking spots in the ADE. If no one else replies with suggestions you’ll probably have to post in the UK2000 and see if Gary can help. September 3, 20196 yr When you say you installed EGCC into P3Dv4.5 you did download a fresh install, I would uninstall a do a fresh download install you my have a corrupted download. Raymond Fry.
September 3, 20196 yr Can you please check your UK2000 Scenery/UK2000 Manchester Xtreme/Scenery folder for either of the following two files, and let me know which one is installed in that folder? September 3, 20196 yr ADE tells me he has GEN installed he need to run the installer again and change to TRM the gates will be OK then. Raymond Fry.
September 3, 20196 yr I also suspect that he has the GEN file installed, but I want to know if this is an installer fault, or just a mistake that he has made. That's why I need to know which AFD file is in his Scenery folder (or if both of them have somehow been installed at the same time). Yes it was a fresh install, downloaded again not copying from FSX. 3 hours ago, Christopher Low said: Can you please check your UK2000 Scenery/UK2000 Manchester Xtreme/Scenery folder for either of the following two files, and let me know which one is installed in that folder? EGCC_AFD_UK2xGEN.bgl EGCC_AFD_UK2xTRM.bgl There aren’t any AFD files but I have this, EGCC_afx_UK2xGEN.bgl I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times, although maybe I was not uninstalling properly. I just deleted the UK2000 Manchester Extreme Folder from Users/ABennett/Documents/Prepar3D v4 Add-ons Many thanks for your help!
September 3, 20196 yr It seems that you do indeed have the AFD file installed that leaves spaces for the static aircraft. The solution to your problem is simple.... If you look in the UK2000 Manchester Xtreme/Options folder, you will see both AFD files (the GEN version and the TRM version). Just copy the TRM file to your UK2000 Manchester Xtreme/Scenery folder, and remove the EGCC_AFX_UK2xGEN.bgl file that is already there. It is quite possible that the installer copied the wrong file to your Scenery folder (assuming that you are certain that you did not select the wrong option at the start). Thank you both for this, I now have the TRM (afx) file in the scenery folder. May I ask two short questions, i) Why do I have EGCC_afx and not EGCC_AFD as you seem to be calling it? ii) Should I need to uninstall again, is that the correct way? Just deleting the UK2000 Manchester Extreme folder from the location I specified earlier? Thanks again!
September 3, 20196 yr That was my mistake. I am at work, so I was working from memory. The filenames should have "AFX" in them (not "AFD" as I stated). As for uninstalling, you are correct. You only need to delete the UK2000 Manchester Xtreme folder. September 3, 20196 yr In the option menu for P3Dv4 it show as AFD once you install it will show as EGCC_afx_UK2xTRM.bgl In fact different developers have different naming conventions for the AFCAD`s in the Scenery folder. Edited September 3, 20196 yr by rjfry Raymond Fry.

Thanks both again for this. All working now and all my questions answered, don’t know where I’d be without the help on here.
