September 5, 20196 yr I just bought a new computer and set up P3D v4.5 and downloaded the latest Track IR 5 but cannot get it to work. I went into P3d and installed simconnect but that didn't work. I don't understand computers very well so I'm hoping someone can help me get Track IR going. Thanks Rodger

Thanks Rodger Hi Rodger, Did you run the (4) Simconnect installs in the distro directory that seemed to deal with English ? I think I ran (4) to get it to work... If so - right click on your Track IR icon - select "Properties" under the "Compatibility" tab - try selecting "Run As Administrator" - - - then try it... I need mine to run as admin to work... I don't know where that is. Here is the only way I can get it to work. 1. Uninstall Track IR 5 2. Unplug the Track IR USB connection 3. Restart my computer 4. Plug in Track IR 5. Reinstall Track IR 6. Start Track IR 7. Start P3D 8. Open as administrator As it is right now I must do this every time to get it to work. Edited September 5, 20196 yr by C130FE
September 5, 20196 yr Hi Rodger, I'm not in front of my PC at the moment - going from recollection - [P3Dv4 folder]\redist\Interface - I think two of them were language specific Russian and Japanese ? I didn't install them - if you work your way through the other respective sub directories - you'll find the installers for each one of the other four version - which I did install... I'm not guaranteeing this will work for you - but it did for me... Regards, Scott

September 5, 20196 yr Was it resolved? I’ve never been able to get TIR working with P3D, even after installing the simconnect files.
