October 14, 20196 yr I have been using Version 1.0 &1.2 without a problem but now I can not get voice recognition to work in version 1.3 (Clean install) with default aircraft, scenery, US recognition, US Voice. The Message "Windows Speech Recognition is not available for your language". (My Region is Australia)
October 14, 20196 yr Commercial Member Hey Bill, Try posting your UGCX.ini file's content to analyze it. And, what's your window's speech recognition's engine language setup? Cheers, Edited October 14, 20196 yr by Manuel82

October 15, 20196 yr Commercial Member Hey Bill, Your UGCX ini file seems OK Can you go to your Window's "Control Panel", then "Ease of Access Center", then "Speech Recognition", then "Advanced Speech Options", then take a screen of the dialogbox that appears. Also can you post your UGCX log file?
October 15, 20196 yr Commercial Member If your Windows speech recognizer is set to ENGLISH - US, ensure you select ENGLISH US in UGCX, not Australia. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

October 16, 20196 yr Commercial Member Hey Bill, Sorry by the delay, has been researching about this error, but found little information about it. However, I think something went wrong with the 409.cfg file, can you take a screenshot of the folder: C:\Users\billo\AppData\Roaming\Ultimate Ground Crew X\Language I would like to see if the 409.cfg is present and if it matches the one we have, because, seems like its broken or something. Cheers, Manuel

October 18, 20196 yr Commercial Member User fixed the problem himself. This is how: Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryQ97Sq7F3c I simply ran ctfmon.exe from CMD & it worked, so I added it to the Start, Run via Regedit, Re-Booted three times & everything still worked. I built my first computer 40 years ago this year & this had me beat. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
