Flightchops previews MSFS

If you're not familiar with his channel, he's a RW pilot who documents his progression in aviation. Good stuff. He's recently gotten into simming for IFR work and seems to be enthusiastically diving into it. Seems impressed with the sim thus far. The middle part of the vid has the MS team going more in depth about the flight model than I've seen before.

Nice job! Truly amazing preview footage of the sim. Great to hear they are focused on the PC users.

I believe FroogleSim did a much more thorough review of everything mentioned in the event. The only way FlightChops differs is by his inclusion of snippets of developer interviews which are just as much informative.

Also good to see Pete admit he was wrong about this sim.

Wasn’t Pete the one who went on a tirade after the first announcement and then had to later delete that video and make a new one?

That's the one.  I'm not sure what his actual problem was, but it wasn't the simulator itself.  At least he corrected his problem with his new video.

He watched the announcement video and saw "XBox" on it and made an angry rant about how the new simulator was for consoles and it was doomed to failure.

That’s right, I had forgot it was the XBox version being mentioned that got him going. For some reason I was thinking it was something about it being a “plane game” but now that I remember, the “plane game” guy was a member here who kept posting that over and over.
