Aerosoft CRJ-1000 major update announced

Featured Replies

The original CRJ was very nicely done. I made a collection of videos including the full MCE integration package. I found it pleasing to fly. I didn't find all the so called bugs.

However, if AS plan to charge for the "upgrade" then it's essential to provide an affordable upgrade path to MSFS2020. Many people (myself included) are forestalling any more purchases in P3d, awaiting the arrival of MSFS.

PMDG had the right idea with the December "offer" on their NGXu (NGX3in MSFS). Alas their "offer" to upgrade for a bargain, only lasted a month, thus after 1.1.20 preventing people from taking advantage of the offer.

So by all means push it out as another purchase, but provide a path to the next flight sim.

There are some users like myself who have reported a very particular stuttering pattern that exists in spite of high performance hardware and does not change even when reducing sliders / settings significantly. We also all indicated that the old version of the crj was smooth and easy on frames. Hans said he’s looking into it weeks ago but he is unsure still what may be causing it. For me, in spite of loving the aircraft, I’ve parked it because the stutters are too noticeable.

Add me to that group as well.  For the life of me, I can’t figure out the source of the stuttering on both the old and new CRJ (I saw similar behavior on the old version).  It essentially is parked for me as well until Hans can dig into it further.
