October 30, 20196 yr All Along the Watchtower - Cascade Fire Lookouts Starting from Chilliwack (CYCW), we fly into the Cascade Range on a tour of Fire Lookouts. There are 10 watchtowers in all, and six airport landings. The route finishes in Chelan (S10). The total route is 280nm and you will probably want to fly an aircraft that can cruise at 160 knts and I recommend an aircraft with good visibility to spot the fire towers. I will be flying the Ant’s T-28 Trojan. The Lancair Legacy or Vans RV-7 are also good choices.. As always, you are free to fly what you like. Recommended Scenery: Orbx NA Pacific Northwest Optional Payware Airports: Orbx 3W5 Concrete Orbx 1S2 Darrington Flightplan & Pilots Guide: HERE NOTAMS: Good Weather Day: Aug 28, 17:00Z (Recommend that we fly with this weather, this will provide clear weather for most of the route with good visibility of the mountains and glaciers) Departure Time: 14:15 local - Plan to arrive at S10 around 17:15 local. October 31, 20196 yr Looks like I'm a Spitfire kinda guy. Never been a Bob Dylan fan, couldn't see what the attraction was. What was the Dave Matthews lot on? Something pretty powerful I'd say. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
October 31, 20196 yr I like the Dave Matthews Band version best, so I'm a Trojan guy... Regards Gunter Schneider

October 31, 20196 yr Clear preference for the edgier Hendrix version, so put me down for the Spitfire. Maybe I'll fly that on Saturday, I haven't had it out for a while.
November 1, 20196 yr What type would one fly if they might prefer ?? : - Billy Valentine & The Forest Rangers <-- A fitting band name for this flight 😎 - Moon Taxi featuring Tom Blankenship - Eddie Vedder - or - - Neil Young, Willie Nelson and Crazy Horse <-- perhaps a DC-3 / C47 ?? 😝 FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
November 1, 20196 yr Oh yes! Billy Valentine for Pres-i-dent. That'll be a P-51 Reno racer But you aint heard my Mum sing it at her 50th wedding anniversary gig. Fantastic. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

November 1, 20196 yr 2 hours ago, Ron Attwood said: It's not showing up anywhere. It's there, Ron. Top news feed on A2A front page. Changelog: Version 19.10.20.0 Changes Fixed bug causing 'pulsating' effect at high power settings with low airspeed. Previous version was 19.5.24.0, which I will hazard a guess was in May this year. It doesn't look as though it's the end of the world if you don't get this one.
November 1, 20196 yr Now I'm feeling real stupid. I was certain the update was there. But when Ron asked I couldn't find it anymore.... and still can't... Regards Gunter Schneider
November 1, 20196 yr Just been through all of the 'check for updates' and got one for the T6 and one for the C172 all the others say 'Your software is up to date' I seem to recall doing the Spitfire one a few weeks ago. Go figure. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
