November 16, 20196 yr I found this interesting. In the Copenhagen clip there is a noticeable transition between the photogrammetry data and the AI augmented data, highlighting the limitations of matching different sources. For some, the first impression of these inconsistencies may be less than complimentary, but keep in mind that none of this data is fixed and will continue to be updated with varying degrees of regularity. Photogrammetry will improve (in both quality and coverage), satellite imagery will improve, as will AI placement of assets, traffic data, weather data etc etc. Essentially, this simulator is powered by vast amounts of external data, and that data is always improving. Copenhagen, Denmark. Bernard
November 16, 20196 yr The color of the satellite image also makes that different more noticeable. The 3D one is more red, while the non photogrammetry area has a less colorful effect. But I hope the coverage of photogrammetry will increase even in existent 3D cities.
November 16, 20196 yr Very interesting catch. Baber My Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/HDOnlive
November 16, 20196 yr It is certainly great to know the data will constantly be updated so coverage and quality can only improve with time. On top of that the AI algorithms and machine learning that drive the autogen can only get better with more iterations and time. This sim will have inbuilt graphic future-proofing unlike any other. November 16, 20196 yr Wow!!! That shows just how good the scenery is for areas that don't have photogrammetry data! So that means the vast majority of the cities in the world are going to look highly believable and varied. I really want to see some cities in Asia. MS please show us Bangkok, Manila, Hong Kong, Tokyo.... and some rural areas from SE Asia, how about around Boracay (RPCT) or Phuket (VTSP)? Matthew S
