December 12, 20196 yr Dear Sir or Madame, Hello. I apologize in advance if this is not the proper place to ask this, but does anyone have any information regarding the situation at FlightSimPilotShop? For months now, when I try to visit their website, I get a "403 Forbidden" message on url "http://www.fspilotshop.com/index.php" . If I delete the "/index.php I then arrive at a webpage that states "The webpage is parked for free, courtesy of GoDaddy.com" (this is the url: http://fspilotshop.com/?reqp=1&reqr=) . I was hoping to attach photos to show what I am referring to but I was unable to do so. Thank you in advance. Regards, Gregorios TSAMIS
December 12, 20196 yr They have closed down and are no longer in business. From what I have read in this forum and other forums, software developers were not receiving their royalties anymore. This was happening before they shutdown. Edited December 12, 20196 yr by johncott Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder. John C.
December 12, 20196 yr FlightSim Pilot Shop Be very careful with your titles here. You are referencing FSPilotShop.com but you erroneously spelled out FlightSim in your title. There is no FlightSim in FSPilotShop. There are other sites with names very close to what you used in your title and that may harm them. There is also FlightSim.com and FlightSim Developer.com just to mention a couple. December 13, 20196 yr Whre you trying to access a product you have bought previously? You may still be able to get support directly from the developer in transferrring the licence, some are more accommodating than others. Ian S
January 1, 20206 yr Author Hello, Ian, you are 100% correct about that; FSDG are absolutely great and accommodating while some other developers won't even take a second to reply. My solution; stop buying their products. It was great that I had backups of my purchases. The only drawback is with upgrades to P3d v4 versions. Regards, Gregorios TSAMIS
